Curriculum
The school is recognized and duly accredited by the Addis Ababa Education Bureau. Hence, it is abide by the regular curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education in line with the country’s Education and Training Policy.
Kegn Andarge W/Giorgis Memorial School, offers subjects which are all accredited by the Addis Ababa Education Bureau. The school focuses on student-centered approach education encouraging the students to develop their confidence and self-reliance. Each student is recognized as a unique individual and is allowed to express his/her views and ideas.
The educational structure is organized in accordance with the Ethiopian Educational Structure. Accordingly, the school is organized into Kindergarten, Primary schools (Grade 1 to 8), Secondary school (Grade 9 to 12).
Kindergarten
At this stage students get engaged in language skills development, numbers, life skills, art, and music mixed with indoor and outdoor play.
Primary School (Grade 1 to 8)
At this stage students get lessons in subjects like Amharic, English, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Social Science, Computer, Aesthetics (Music, Art, and Physical Education) and Natural Sciences (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry).
Secondary School (Grade 9 to 12)
At this stage students get lessons in subjects like Amharic, English, Mathematics, Social Science (History, Geography, Business and Economics), Natural Sciences (Biology, Physics and Chemistry), Technical Drawing, Information Communication Technology and Health and Physical Education.
